MEDICAL GUIDANCE CENTRE
A Free Health Camp was successfully organized on 27th July 2025 in Kurla by the Medical Service Society Kurla in collaboration with the Medical Guidance Centre, managed by Niswarth Sewa Charitable Trust. The initiative aimed to promote preventive healthcare and provide essential health screenings to the local community. The camp witnessed 137 participants, who availed various diagnostic services and basic health check-ups. The initiative focused on early detection of common health conditions and encouraging individuals to take timely medical advice. Diagnostic Services Provided Participants were offered several important health tests, including: ECG (Electrocardiogram) HbA1c Test Random Blood Sugar (HGT) Hemoglobin Test (Hb) Pulmonary Function Test (PFT) Key Health Findings During the screenings, several previously undiagnosed health conditions were identified: 42 individuals were newly diagnosed with high blood pressure 34 individuals were identified with diabetes 5 cases showed signs of possible heart disease 24 individuals were found with low hemoglobin levels Impact of the Initiative The health camp played an important role in identifying health issues among individuals who were previously unaware of their conditions. Early detection allows patients to seek timely medical consultation and make necessary lifestyle or treatment changes. Community health initiatives like this contribute significantly to raising health awareness, encouraging preventive care, and improving access to basic medical services, particularly for underserved populations.
